What does Ruby Jewel mean?

In the 1960's a new phrase entered into the language of cockney rhyming slang 'Ruby Murray' was adopted as the alternative for curry. Jewels are precious gemstones with some of the finest Rubies coming from India. Ruby Jewel aims to provide customers with a precious curry taste like no other in Wokingham.

Weekly Menu

We are currently offering a Friday service consisting of a selection of vegetarian, vegan and meat Curries, Wraps, Burgers and Chips for Pre-order. Extras are also available if additional sides, sauces or drinks are desired. Each dish is freshly cooked to order.
Customers can either pre-order directly on our website or order Wraps, Burgers and Chips via Deliveroo for delivery.

Catering

We offer an extensive catering service based on our customer’s requirements.
Whether it’s a team away-day, baby shower, private dinner or party, our team will work with you to create a tailored menu that’s just right for your event.

About us

I am full time working mum of two, who has finally decided to drive forward with my passion of cooking. Ruby Jewel was created so I could share my food with you all, as there's no greater satisfaction than knowing people have enjoyed what you have cooked.
Each dish is handmade with love and care.
Coming from an Indian family, food is a big part of our culture. I have grown up watching big pots of food being cooked and shared by my Grandmothers, Mother & Mother in law.
The recipes on our menu are authentic Punjabi Indian flavours I have grown up eating at home and whilst abroad with family in India. These are the flavours that we are bringing to you through our weekly menu and catering services.
I make the magic happen in the kitchen whilst my husband keeps the company's wheels turning from all other aspects. Making food with a heart full of love and passion will always taste good.

Enjoy our food while helping the environment.
All of our food is freshly cooked to order. To help our environment we have chosen a biodegradable packing option, which is recyclable whilst maintaining the temperature and flavour of the dish. Even though this packaging option is more expensive, we as Ruby Jewel want to do our part in creating a more sustainable future.
